During three days, Americans and Romanians enjoyd Romanian dance,music and food.
The Carpathia Folk Dance Ensemble performed Romanian Folk Dances from all Regions of Romania and Europe.
The Carpathia Folk Dance made of young Americans students performed very well and had traditional costumes specific to each Country .
Also, the Romanian Grup Music Band from Maramures,Romania performed together whit the special guest Romanian Folk Music Singer Mariana Iatagan.
At this event organized by; Father Dumitru Paun together with the Saint Andrew Romanian Ortodox Church and Comunity, were present the Adrian Vierita Romanian Ambasador in USA and the US Ambasador from Romania.

NORTH CHARLESTON ARTS Festival
The Festival began thirty one years ago as a small ,one day, comunity celebration and has expanded over time to nine days of wonderful events throughout the City and surrounding area.
This Festival is one of the most comprehensive arts festivals in South Carolina, earning it recognition as a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society.
This annual event offers residents and visitors from all walks of life the opportunity to experience high quality entertainment, exhibits, and programming in the areas of performing, visual, media, and literary arts.

- In 1990 She started working in collaboration With Radio Stations and TV Stations.
- Since then she participated in different TV Folk shows and she made professional Recordings in major music studios from Bucharest.

AT THE BEGINING
Since the school years, Mariana started singing at the scholl Festivals, Church choir and later at the weddings with a small country / Folkl music band. The band oz made of only Romanian Traditional Instruments : Flute , violin, timbal, clarinet and Accordion.
- At 18 years old she started singing with a Profesional Folk Music Band " ARGES AMSAMBLE".
In all her shows, she is dreessed in Traditional Romanian Costumes. All her costumes ar part of her art folk collection and are 100 years old.
- Mariana Iatagan studied canto at the Popular Art School from Pitesti, Arges Romania
- In Pitesti she joined the Romanian Folk music orchestra Doina Argesului-Profesor Dorel Manea
- Together with this Professional Band - DOINA ARGESULUI PITESTI- she Participated in many shows in Romania and other Countries.
- All musical recordings where mixed and produced in JOLT KERESTELY Studio.Music/Sound Engineer, Composer
- The future Music Albume that MARIANA IATAGAN is working at, is directed by Professor ION IVANOVICI Bucharest
- With the Romanian Radio Orchestra ,
-All the recordings are made in the JOLT KERESTELY - Recording Studio .
- I would like to meet new people and make new friends, and to introduce the Romanian Folk Music and Art to American Culture.
- I am trying to preserve the Romanian Tradition and custumes . Also to promote the Romanian Folk Music and Romanian Traditional Costumes and Folk Art.
- On this Site I will keep you update with my recent activities and music career.
